Pam is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Navy Federal Credit Union. As CMO, Pam leads all initiatives
focused on brand and corporate narratives, digital and marketing trends, and the road ahead for both the
credit union and its members. She is the conduit between the organization and current and prospective
members, keeping a pulse on the needs of both for their mutual benefit and success. Pam is passionate
about accurately capturing what the credit union stands for, going beyond building brand awareness to
generating loyalty and trust from Active Duty, Veterans and their families. She is a leader motivated by
doing what is right not only for the millions of Navy Federal members around the world, but also for the
military community at large.
Prior to becoming CMO, Pam served as the senior vice president of Marketing and Communications,
overseeing the advancement of Navy Federal’s brand story of unsurpassed member service. She also
directed all marketing and advertising strategy, including research and both public and industry relations.
One of her many skills lies in finding the nuggets of data that turn insights into opportunities. With expertise
that extends to the credit union’s digital and social properties, Pam also provided guidance and oversight on
driving engagement, communications and brand consistency across all channels.
Before joining Navy Federal, Pam was senior vice president of Fitzgerald & Co., an award-winning Atlantabased
IPG advertising agency. There, she helped win the Navy Federal account in 2009 and led the branding
effort when the credit union extended its membership to include all branches of military service.
Pam has over 30 years of account management experience, including positions with DDB, Ingalls, Quinn &
Johnson and BBDO. She executed campaigns for brands such as Wachovia, Energizer, Safeway, Nabisco,
Ocean Spray, Quikrete, Black+Decker and Southern Company.
Her work has garnered high industry recognition. She is the winner of a Bronze Cannes Cyber Lion, a
prestigious industry award, and a Midas award for her contributions to the successful Navy Federal “Stories”
campaign, the credit union’s first nationally televised advertising campaign. She was also named to Financial
Narrative’s 50, a listing of distinguished professionals in financial marketing and communications. Financial
Narrative is recognized as a leading global community for senior marketing executives.
Pam is a staunch advocate for causes in the professional realm and the local community. Proudly, she is
a founding member of the DC chapter of Chief, an organization devoted to connecting and empowering
women in leadership, a sitting member of the Association of National Advertisers CMO Growth Council
and a Board Member of Credit Union Miracle Day. She is also a talent champion for the ANA’s Advertising
Education Foundation, which promotes career development and opportunities for marketing graduates and
underclassmen, and is on Google’s Marketing Advisory Board for Finance.
Never one to pass up a chance to run, Pam participates in marathons across the nation and has proudly
completed her bucket list goal of running a marathon in every state in the U.S.
