Billy Jones is the VP of Marketing at Hootsuite. There he balances leading both an internal creative agency and an internal media strategy/buying/executing function. Prior to his role at Hootsuite, he spent his career leading award-winning work for creative agency BBDO and working with clients like Wells Fargo, Lay’s, Snickers, M&M’s, Mars Bar, Maltesers, Extra Gum and Eclipse, to name a few. Jones has over 10 years of experience helping the world’s largest brands across CPG, finance, tech and spirits among others to realize their marketing potential. He is a brand strategist and creative thinker through and through—with a strong passion for wrestling down business problems and inspiring cross functional teams to use human behavior and creativity to unlock solutions. Jones is also a Board Member at 826CHI, a non-profit creative writing, tutoring and publishing center dedicated to amplifying the voices of Chicago’s Youth.
